The room we booked is a triple bed room. Unfortunately when we reach our room, there was a 5,6 steps stairs right in front of our room. Which is difficult for our pushchair. They should assume that we will need something step free as we asked for a cot, which was prepared before we checked in.
In our room there is a working demolition site right in front of our only window. As there is no air con and the fan provided is dangerous for our 1 years old, we cannot really stay in that room with the window opened. Not to mention it does not have the said refrigerator in the bedroom.
We had to ask to change the room. The rooms we were offered were another triple room on the 4th floor but still facing the same demolition site, or extra £40-50 for other rooms that has sea views and larger with a proper fridge. We ended up paying £40 more for another room.
Despite the receptionist said the rooms was offered with discount already, I think we should have the upgrade for free. If it wasn't the staff is helpful and polite, and the room is clean and comfy, we would have take the same day train later that night for our son's sake.
